The silent version of IDEM’s OM 457 LA generator, the Power Silent BM-457 LA-KP: the turbocharged, intercooled OM 457 LA engine, a 400 kVA Mecc Alte alternator and an 800 A change-over switch, inside a sound-insulated canopy.

The nameplate rating is 400 kVA (320 kW) at 1500 rpm and a power factor of 0.8. The canopy makes the set ready for outdoor installation and for noise-sensitive sites.
