What the unit does

The base is named after the martyr Ayoub Hayhati Azar: born in Tabriz in 1967, a member of IDEM’s training unit, killed on 10 January 1987 in Operation Karbala-5 at Shalamcheh. The base operates under the Al-Hadid workers’ Basij resistance district. The IDEM Islamic Association has been active in the company since the first years of the revolution.

The staff pilgrimage caravan, the IDEM Martyrs’ Arbaeen mawkib at the Tamarchin border and the Muharram ceremonies are among the programmes the two run together.
