IDEM’s high-power set on the OM 457 LA: 390 kVA continuous and 460 kVA standby at 1500 rpm.

The high-power OM 457 LA generator is IDEM’s own set, built on the turbocharged, intercooled 400 series engine made in Tabriz under Daimler-Benz licence. At 1500 rpm it delivers 425 hp (390 kVA) continuous and 500 hp (460 kVA) standby power.

Continuous power is rated to DIN 6270 A and may be exceeded by 10 percent for one hour in every twelve. Standby power is available for 300 hours a year. The figures apply at 20 °C intake air, 60 percent relative humidity, 300 m above sea level and a power factor of 0.8.

The set comes open, with its control panel on the base frame; a silent version in a sound-insulated canopy is also in the range.
