Continuing the upward trend of production at IDEM, the company managed on Saturday, the third of Aban, to set a new daily production record by assembling and testing 50 units of the 355 Common Rail EEV diesel engine.

According to IDEM Public Relations, this remarkable achievement was attained under the guidance of the respected CEO and with the cooperation of various units, especially the tireless efforts of colleagues in the production department, and it demonstrates the firm determination of the organization to improve productivity and fulfill the company's production goals. In the second half of the current year, despite the retirement of a number of experienced colleagues in 1403 and 1404, IDEM succeeded in setting a daily production record of 50 engines by relying on the strength of young personnel and improving work processes. It is worth mentioning that last year IDEM had also broken its previous record with a daily production of 40 diesel engines, and now with a 25 percent increase in production, it has taken a big step on the path of growth and production sustainability. The 355 Common Rail EEV engine is one of the popular products manufactured under license from Benz of Germany at IDEM, which is installed as the main powertrain on Wagonhood trucks; a truck that enjoys special popularity among drivers and transport sector professionals due to its powerful performance and efficient fuel consumption. This achievement is a symbol of the effort, commitment and solidarity of the great IDEM family on the path to realizing the slogan “Sustainable Production, National Pride”.
