On the evening of Thursday, 5 Mehr, during a ceremony marking National Industry and Mining Day, Dr. Ruhollah Zeynali, CEO of Iran Diesel Engine Manufacturing Co. (IDEM), was honored as a model unit in the innovative projects category. The ceremony was held at the Khavaran International Conference Center in Tabriz, with the attendance of high-ranking national and provincial officials, including the Parliamentary Deputy to the President, the Minister of Agriculture Jihad, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, the President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Iran House of Industry and Mine, the head of the East Azerbaijan Governorate, and a number of members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
According to IDEM Public Relations, Iran Diesel Engine Manufacturing Co., by earning top scores in assessments and audits, obtained the title of the selected industry unit of the province. Dr. Zeynali, as CEO and member of the board of directors of this company, received the crystal statue of the province's model unit from national officials.
At this ceremony, IDEM Tabriz was introduced as the largest diesel engine manufacturer in the Middle East, with more than half a century of experience, for its important role in the country's automotive industry and its strategic location near the gates of Eurasia. This strategic position has made it possible to export the company's products to European and Middle Eastern countries.
The selection of IDEM as the province's model unit reflects the company's efforts toward innovation, improving product quality, increasing productivity and sustainable development.
