According to the Public Relations of IDEM, the CEO of Iran Khodro Industrial Group, Dr. Moghimi, on 17 Aban 1398, accompanied by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Iran Khodro, Dr. Vafadar, the CEO of SAPCO, the Director General of the Office of Automotive and Powertrain Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, and senior managers of Iran Khodro Industrial Group, visited the production and assembly lines, engine test laboratories, precision measurement rooms and the product exhibition of IDEM.
During this visit and in the meeting held at IDEM, he emphasized jihadi thought and action to realize the directives of the Supreme Leader and the boost of production, which is one of the main pillars of the resistance economy, and called for special attention to domestic manufacturing projects and increasing the depth of localization of parts and assemblies and self-sufficiency in the production of diesel engines with the Euro 5 standard, and in this regard tasked IDEM and the group's companies with utilizing the capacities and capabilities available at IDEM for the production of diesel and passenger engine parts and assemblies needed by the group's companies.
At this meeting, in his presence, the self-sufficiency memorandum of understanding for the 457 Euro 5 engine was signed and exchanged between IDEM and SAPCO.
